Spire Realty Group, LP was founded in 1989. Since its inception, Spire has focused on the repositioning of value-add real estate through a patient, comprehensive approach. Spire has successfully revitalized countless assets over the years, providing not only exceptional returns on investment, but also improving the communities through its efforts.
As a building owner and community advocate, Spire Realty Group, led by Caleb S. Smith, has focused on enhancing metropolitan downtown areas. In Dallas over the last 10 years, Spire Realty Group has beautified landscaping, improved parking-tenant ratios, boosted several properties to A-level structural standing, and actively worked with civic groups to draw development downtown. In addition, Spire Realty Group is an active supporter and promoter of Dallas’ arts. Caleb and the Spire Realty team work diligently to raise awareness among tenants and Dallas visitors about the variety and quality of the arts available downtown.
In Houston, Spire Realty Group was one of the first in the Houston community to recognize the importance of the redevelopment and historic preservation of once derelict and neglected areas of downtown. The company has renovated and transformed numerous historic buildings including the Stowers Building, Alden Hotel (a luxury hotel now listed on the National Register of Historic Buildings), Bayou Lofts, the Topek Building, the McCrory Building, 509 Main, the Old Cotton Exchange, and the Great Jones Building at 708 Main.
Spire remains committed to the vision of its leadership and continues to be active in its endeavors.
